ABL Double Reed is a small, independent workshop led by Alex Laubin, a third-generation craftsman trained in the tradition of his father and grandfather, Paul and Alfred Laubin.
We aim to produce beautiful, reliable tools that make the musician’s life easier.
We believe in quality over quantity and substance over style. We measure success in the quality of our work and the strength of our relationships - not in dollars. We serve the oboe and English horn community with integrity, kindness, and respect.
